HUD schedules a webcast on 2005 Housing Choice Voucher funding

Although no announcement has appeared on the home page for the Office and Public and Indian Housing, HUD has broadcast an e-mail announcing a webcast to, "explain the requirements of the FFY 2005 Appropriations Act," pertaining to the Housing Choice Voucher program. This webcast will be the first opportunity to hear how the department plans to implement requirements of the just passed appropriations bill. These requirements will begin to affect HAs on January 1, 2005.

The webcast is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2004. The discussion can be accessed using the internet from http://www.hud.gov/webcasts/schedule/index.cfm. HAs with access to satellite broadcast reception equipment can access the broadcast at the following satellite coordinates: AM-1 [C-Band] Transponder 9, Channel 9 [3880 MHz Horizontal] 103 Degrees W. Longitude.
