GAO report focuses on HOPE VI leveraging, HUD reporting
The General Accounting Office (GAO) recently issued a report to Senate housing committees regarding the HOPE VI program. The report focuses on two topics: HOPE VI leveraging and HUD reporting. While the report highlights successes of HOPE VI projects in leveraging non-federal funds, it is critical of the Department's failure to submit annual reports to Congress.
