HUD Deputy Secretary nominee Jackson testifies before Senate committee
On Tuesday, May 15, Alphonso R. Jackson, nominated to be Deputy Secretary of HUD, testified before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs. Also testifying were: Richard A. Hauser, nominated to be HUD's General Counsel; John Charles Weicher, nominated to be HUD's Assistant Secretary and serve as the Federal Housing Commissioner; and the Hon. Romolo A. Bernardi, nominated to be HUD's Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development.
