PHADA contacts HUD on PHAS
changes; Capital Fund delays
PHADA sent two letters to HUD Assistant Secretary Michel Liu today. A letter on the Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) commended the Department for withdrawing the flawed proposed rule and requested collaboration on the regulation the Department plans to implement. The other communication registered PHADA's concerns about HUD's lateness in getting FY 2003 Capital Funds to housing agencies. Both letters can be accessed below:
