PHADA Letter on "Discussion Draft" Revision of H.R. 2
PHADA recently sent comments to Rep. Rick Lazio and Sen. Connie Mack concerning the "discussion draft" revision of H.R. 2. The draft may be used by conferees during the House/Senate conference on H.R. 4194. The conference on H.R. 4194, the FY99 VA/HUD funding bill, is likely to take place in September. The comments were transmitted on August 17, 1998.

PHADA testimony before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on VA/HUD and Independent Agencies
The testimony, presented by John Hiscox, PHADA's Vice President for Legislation, addresses the association's FY 1999 HUD budget priorities. Also included is testimony on PHADA's opposition to the proposed transfer of Section 8 reserves in the FY98 Supplemental Appropriations bill. The testimony was presented on April 22, 1998.
