Since the meeting will be held right in New Orleans, PHADA plans to conduct a tour of the Housing Authority of New Orleans, and will drive through some of the Katrina-damaged areas, showing how the housing authority and other local agencies are rebounding after the tragic 2005 storm.
As always at the Annual Convention and Exhibition, PHADA will host the Bollinger Scholarship luncheon to honor the scholarship recipients. This year’s winners will be announced shortly before the meeting. Look for more specific details on planned sessions and other convention highlights in the Advocate and on the PHADA website.
