HR Manager:
The Housing Authorities of the City and County of Fresno, California is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the day to day efforts of the HR department. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in developing an HR team, implementing processes, and shaping the agency’s HR department!
The ideal incumbent will provide the executive team with solid HR advice to implement an effective HR program and provide solutions to complex issues. The HR manager would be a true working manager; coaching, mentoring and developing the employees and overseeing strategic HR efforts for the agency.
The day to day responsibilities of the organization’s HR Manager will include management and oversight in the areas of Training and Professional Development, Labor and Employee Relations, Benefits, Recruitment and Performance Management.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management (or similar field), and a minimum of seven years of HR experience (at least three years of HR Management experience and at least five years in a generalist capacity is preferred). An MBA, PHR or SPHR is preferred.
Specific experience dealing with unionized environments is preferred. Candidates must have previous experience with developing/administering comprehensive compensation plans and working knowledge of California wage/hour laws and regulations. Experience configuring/implementing an HRIS is a plus.
Location: Fresno, CA
Compensation: $64,888 - $78,871
