This session, presented by PHADA Vice President for Legislation Neil Molloy (Executive Director, St. Louis County, Missouri HA) and association staff, will provide delegates with the latest news on the pending FY 2001 HUD appropriations bill. PHADA's position and legislative priorities will be covered in thorough detail so that members are well-prepared for afternoon meetings with members of Congress and legislative staff.

Presentation by Representatives of Harvard University on the Public Housing Cost Study
This session will cover the ongoing operating fund cost study that will be used to determine a new public housing operating fund system. The session will be presented by the study's Project Director, Gregory A. Byrne. Introduction by David Morton, PHADA Sr. Vice President and Executive Director of the Reno, NV HA.

Current Events in Housing
This session will be presented by PHADA Vice President for Housing Rick Parker (Executive Director, Athens, Georgia HA) and members of PHADA's Housing Committee and association staff. Representatives from the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) will also be on hand to cover their recent draft report on PHAS. Presenters will also cover some of the major pending regulatory items including the latest on HUD's deconcentration rule, the lead based paint regulation, MTCS, and other major regulatory concerns.
