PHADA members are eligible for a 25 percent discount when subscribing to the Public Housing Technical Resource Center via the PHADA Alliance program.
The PHADA Alliance with the PHA Tech Center provides directors with a comprehensive list of web-based resources concerning public housing operations, ranging from a library containing more than 800 policies, forms and articles; a twice-weekly national news summary newsletter; monthly in-depth articles exploring such relevant topics as procedures for implementing property-based management and accounting; and much more.
The staff of the Tech Center believes dynamic leadership is critical to the success of public housing.
“We serve enterprising leaders as they work to improve their agencies,” said Joan Howell of the Public Housing Management Institute, which sponsors the Tech Center. “We believe public housing is the most cost-effective means for meeting the shelter needs of citizens who are not competitive for housing in the private marketplace, and we think it’s time to take a fresh look at what we do and how we go about doing it.”
The Tech Center may be found online at www.pha-resources.org. PHADA members are encouraged to take the free tour of the Tech Center’s many services, which include:
