HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research has prepared a survey for its use in collecting information from HAs about their Physical Needs Assessments, current status, methods and methodologies, and more. PHADA has submitted comments raising concerns including underestimation by HUD of the time needed to complete the survey, objecting to the inclusion of unrelated questions about funding to address the costs of capital needs, and requesting clarification on many questions included in the survey.
