HUD Posts NOFO for Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grants

$246 Million in New Grants, $10 Million in Supplemental Grants Available

HUD has posted the FY 23 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grants Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). The NOFO defines the competition for $246 million available for Implementation Grants of up to $50 million each, and $10 million in Supplemental Grants to FY 17–20 Implementation Grantees who face financial challenges in completing replacement housing plans due to increased costs.  

Applications for a new Implementation Grant are due on December 11, 2023. Applications for a Supplemental Grant are due on March 4, 2024.

Senior Housing Policy Analyst

A 1,900 member trade organization based on Capitol Hill, the Public Housing Authorities Directors Association (PHADA), is seeking a senior housing policy staff person to represent membership with Congress and HUD in Washington. Primary functions include analyzing and keeping members informed of housing, other congressional legislation and HUD regulations and advocating the association’s positions on such matters. Detailed knowledge of, and experience with, public and assisted housing programs is essential.
