HUD is hosting a Faircloth-to-RAD Webinar on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET.
This webinar will provide an overview of how public housing authorities (PHAs) can leverage the Faircloth-to-RAD development process to build new, deeply affordable housing in their communities. Faircloth-to-RAD describes the process by which a PHA builds new public housing through the mixed-finance development process with the pre-approval to immediately convert the property to a long-term project-based Section 8 contract through RAD.
The presentation will provide an overview of how Faircloth-to-RAD development works, how PHAs should think about this tool as part of a repositioning strategy, and the steps in the Faircloth-to-RAD development process. The webinar will be recorded and made available to the public. There will be time for Q&A at the end.
