On September 24, HUD released two Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program funding notices. In notices PIH 2024-32 and PIH 2024-33, the Department announced that while the final deadline for renewal applicants is June 30, 2025, there is a priority deadline of November 1, 2024.
Meeting this priority deadline is vital for securing awards for existing programs by the beginning of calendar year 2025 and for consideration of expansion positions if funding permits.
