The Bollinger Foundation is Now Accepting Grant Applications for 2025
To be eligible for a grant, a child must meet three criteria: (1) to have lost a parent or guardian, (2) have at least one parent or legal guardian who has worked in the housing, community development, or economic development field, and (3) demonstrated need. If you, or someone you know is eligible, please see the nomination materials here.
The Foundation is named in honor of the late Steve Bollinger, a HUD Assistant Secretary during the Reagan Administration. The Foundation primarily provides funds for children’s education. This can include—but is not limited to—grants towards special educational needs, school materials, and college tuition. The Foundation has also awarded funds for counseling and other special needs. PHADA’s Executive Director, Tim Kaiser, is a longtime member of the Foundation’s Board.
The Board of Directors will carefully consider each application. Grants are awarded in small dollar amounts, and in all events will not exceed $8,000 per grantee annually with a lifetime cap of $32,000. APPLICATIONS DUE BY JUNE 1. For any questions, please email: contact@bollingerfoundation.org.
