On May 28, PHADA and 12 other industry and advocacy organizations wrote to HUD leadership to quickly release guidance detailing how housing agencies can apply for Tenant Protection Vouchers (TPV) to help families with Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) as the EHV program phases out.
This issue affects thousands of tenants and their PHAs, and the groups are encouraging a prompt and favorable response from HUD. PHADA will continue to advocate for maximum funding and flexibility so that currently-assisted EHV families remain stably housed. The Association will keep members updated regarding the latest EHV news through the Advocate, Breaking News, and social media.
